An order once placed cannot be cancelled.
When AlaCarte Express receives your order, we fax it to the restaurant, sometimes immediately. Once the restaurant receives the order from us and starts to prepare it, we have to pay the restaurant for it, and we in turn expect payment. If you just placed your order, please call and we will try our best to stop it before it goes to the kitchen, but we cannot promise this.

AlaCarte Express does not guarantee delivery times.
Most orders are delivered within an hour, but there are many factors beyond our control which can negatively effect the delivery time. When you go out to a restaurant, there are times when there are plenty of empty tables and your meal is brought out promptly, and other times when you have to wait -- It's the same with us.
When you place your order we will try to give you a reasonably accurate 15-minute window when you should expect delivery. If the order is likely to take more time, we will endeavor to give you an update. However we do not guarantee these times. If you are dissatisfied, though, we want to know. As is the tradition in the hospitality industry, we will try to satsify our customers.

AlaCarte Express is not responsible for the quality of food or portion sizes.
We vouch for the quality of each of our restaurants - our reputation depends on it. But if for some reason you are dissatisfied with what you've received, let us know and we will try to rectify the problem. A steak ordered well-done and delivered medium rare will be returned and replaced, just as in a restaurant.
Any food damaged in transit is our responsibility, however, and we will either replace it or not charge you for it.

AlaCarte Express reserves the right to refuse cross-town orders.
We encourage our customers to order from restaurants within their zone or from neighboring zones. We are willing to deliver from restaurants further away but cannot always guarantee that we will be able to. If we are very busy, the dispatcher may not be able to spare a driver for cross-town orders.

A La Carte Express does not deliver to all areas at all times
There are some areas of Washington that we do not service, either because they are too far away from our restaurants, , or because our drivers do not feel safe delivering there. There are some areas where we will deliver during the day but not at night. These decisions are made by the disaptcher in consultation with our drivers.
